Only 30 hours of travel, and here I am...

Four bags and a bike on a United flight, 5.5 to SFO, 7 on the ground, 10.5 to Frankfurt, 2.5 hours on the ground and 5 1/2 hours to Doha. The Sidra Hospital folks scooped my up, ushered me right through customs and delivered me to my condo. 44 West Bay Tower, 41st floor.

The place has 3 bedrooms, 5 baths and a great view. Open for reservations, come on down!

Looks like you are enjoying leaving your comfort zone. Those are some amazing photos, I especially like the one with the dramatic skyline in the background and the wooden dhows in the fore. Kinda represents Qatar from what I know about the place. Most of what I know is from you, by the way. Keep a light on, we might wander by in a few months.

Hey there friend. Book me for the next 30 hour flight!! Sounds like things are doing good. Our pt said happy holidays. She is back to work and really happy. I did a 450-500 cc tvh today. Went well not as scared to do them now-thanks. Hope u have a happy thanksgiving- what's on the menu there?

So five bathrooms; now that's impressive!!
We are sending you an early new year's gift of two Mercer Island friends. Carol Glass and her husband, Jeff Haley will be arriving for a two day stay from 2-4 January. I have emailed Greta the details. Wish we could take their place!
Glad your flight went well and you are settling in. Serendipitously I met a man from Qatar at CityU (where I work) last week. His name is Osama-Abdullah-hadi. He has three brothers who are doctors at the other hospital and he use to work in the department that housed visiting doctors. Small world.
I am still continuing to fight the infection I got following my surgery in September but hoping to get that under control. Mark is busy grading pre-Calculus papers.
So, our dearest Turkey master, what are you cooking up for Thanksgiving? We will be dining with Mark's dad and some family at his retirement home. Just not the same.
Pages vs the Google blog is the way to go. Wish I'd had it when we traveled. But you will be pleased to know that we are now almost all Apple--we both even have the iPhone 6! Miracles never cease.

It amazing how I still see people rushing off to the Mall, then out to the airport to make their travel arrangements! I smile thinking, if they only knew about online Travel Businesses. I book all my travel in my pajamas sipping my coffee.
